Oharah stated in a press release announcing his candidacy that the conditions of county rural roads and bridges, the county's declining population and the loss of business and job opportunities is very concerning to him. He feels that his corporate-management background, current ownership of businesses in Bourbon County and farming background will help provide the leadership needed to help put Bourbon County back on the map.
Oharah, a retired SWBT Corporate Manager, currently is a local business owner, currently serves on the Unified School District 235 School Board and has served as a State Representative.
